On top of the roofs, the player must reach the western corner and find a pile of glowing garbage. If the player ground pounds the spot under the garbage, they will receive a Power Moon. If Mario ground pounds this piece, he will receive a Power Moon. If the player ground pounds the spot in the center of the birds, they will be rewarded with a secret Power Moon. At the Rooftop Garden area, the player can find a rabbit hopping around the rooftops. If Mario catches the rabbit, he will be rewarded with a Power Moon.

Available after collecting the "A Traditional Festival! From the New Donk City Hall Rooftop, the player should look for a trash container on top of an iron girder to the east. To reach the container, Mario must long jump from the City Hall Rooftop to the iron girder. Once Mario opens the trash container by throwing Cappy at ithe will receive a Power Moon. Mario must throw Cappy onto the scarecrow, which will temporarily reveal some seesaw-platforms and a Power Moon above them.

The player must then use the seesaw-platforms to collect the Power Moon before it disappears.

If Mario can answer five of its questions correctly, the player will be rewarded with a Power Moon. Behind the Odyssey, the player can find Captain Toad among the residents of the other kingdoms. Once Mario talks to him, he will be rewarded with the Power Moon. Mario must earn 80 or more points in the minigame to obtain the Power Moon.

Mario must enter the race and then reach the finish line in first place to be awarded a Power Moon. After speaking with it, Mario will be rewarded with the Power Moon. If Mario can answer one of its questions correctly, the Sphynx will open up a doorway which leads to a room with multiple Coin Stacks and a treasure chest which contains the Power Moon. After restoring the Sand Kingdom to its former glory, the player should locate the Tostarenan Tourist at the Tostarena Town.

Mario must talk to the Tostarenan, who states that he wants to go to the Metro Kingdom. After this conversation, the player should head to the Metro Kingdom, where the tourist can be found next to the Main Street Entrance checkpoint. If Mario talks to him here, he will state that he now wants to go to a place with big waterfalls. After this conversation, the player should head to the Cascade Kingdomwhere the tourist can be found near the start of the kingdom.

If Mario talks to him there, he will state that he is up for a bite and some neat eats. After this conversation, the player should head to the Luncheon Kingdomwhere the tourist can be found at the entrance to the Peronza Plaza. If Mario talks to him there, he will state that he now wants to go above and beyond.
